As a young man, I rejected censure and lived for compliments, always criticizing others. I knew everything; now that I am an older man, and wisdom has become my soulmate, I know so much less. Wisdom has taught me never to reject censure or compliment; not allowing either to rule my life, not even for a nano-second. She has taught me to never criticize others, not even in my secret thoughts. My world is now filled with mystery, joy, and above all, peace.
