    I googled the words gossip and slander and Miss Goggle had this to say: ‘Gossip refers to idle talk or rumor, especially about personal or private affairs of others while slander refers to the act of spreading rumors. One has to differentiate between gossip and slander on the one hand and judgement. on the other hand. Regards Elizabeth Jones.
