Six years ago, I learned the meaning of what Jesus was saying in John 17:26; God is in Him, and He is in God.

The Spirit of God in me and my spirit in Him became a reality.

This realization brought about a life change in me. For the first time, I experienced the presence of the Spirit of God inside me.

My relationship with God took on a new meaning. I was no longer looking outside to communicate with God but inside. My spiritual life transformed. I now had an understanding of what previously was a mystery.  I no longer ask God; I thank God! I thank God for what has not yet manifested, believing it has already come into being. My insight about faith became this:

 ‘Faith believes something has come to pass when senses deny it.’

The scriptures show that God has given me the power to ‘do’ and I don’t have to ask for anything. The power to speak, to think and to do is already in me.

He has given me His counsel (Past tense) for anything I need to know, decide, or want. I know what to thank him for because He has already given me His divine counsel.

The scriptures record that Jesus raised the dead, restored sight to the blind, calmed the storm, and turned water into wine. These miracles He performed without asking His Father, only thanking him.

Yes, spiritual truth is in us; we don’t have to ask, only thank. No human can impart spiritual truth to us because God has already placed it in us.

Even if we say we do not believe in God, it will never change this inviolable fact.

Because of our humanity, we occasionally have to be reminded of this truth.
