The Story of The Naked Truth and The Best Dressed Lie.

Every now and again I come across a gem and I discovered this one on Roche Mamabolo’s site.

‘The Naked Truth and The Best Dressed Lie’ is a metaphorical piece of prose which explains why lies are easily accepted and truth shunned in the world today. In an age of massive disinformation the media pounds our door in its quest for ‘hits’ and ‘ratings’ (moneymakers) regardless of any standard of truth.

Kudos to Roche Mamabolo’s post casting a refreshing hope for change to benefit our world.

It is; I love it. A priceless piece. It must have been written a long time ago. All I could find was this: The world-famous painting- “The Truth coming out of the Well” by Jean-Léon Gérôme, 1896. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truth_Coming_Out_of_Her_Well. Nothing to say he wrote the story, but if he did, then it is 127 years old. For you and me today, it casts light on the issue of global disinformation down to those who find ‘white lies’ acceptable. Blessings, Peter.
