If a Diamond Could Make a Sound

Oh, what a romantic song. I love it and can visualize the lady of my life looking at me as we sat on a bench in that famous place. How unique is the romance of humans, given to no other in the universe? I have been to New York a couple of times but have never visited Berkley Square. I have heard a Nightingale sing his love song, calling for a mate to join him after flying ten thousand kilometers from Europe to Africa. I sat on my verandah overlooking the still-warm African night, and his shrill voice broke the silence. Delight of delights, it touched my heart.

How unique is the love call of the Nightingale, given to no other bird in the universe?

I, too, have woken many mornings to the sound of birds chirping away outside my window. Born in a country where diamonds are plentiful, I know the preciousness of the stone, which have decorated the neck, wrist, and, most romantic of all, the fingers of our special womenfolk in this world.

I agree with ET; if the diamond could make a sound, it would surely be akin to our feathered friends chirping at the break of the day. The Nightingale’s love calls in the magic of the warm African night.
