Reportback:

Noline brought us news that she applied to the Wicklow Grant Scheme for the running of a weekend workshop presented by Eleanor O’Rielly and John McKenna. The outcome of this workshop would be an anthology with the theme, “Arklow Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.” The amount applied for was €1300. The Anthology would be showcased during the Heritage Week.

Kudos to Noline for the above achievement and surely we are all hoping her efforts will bear fruit.

Peter-James facillitated the meeting, which begun with members reading their ‘Dialogues’ which were in all quite amazing.

Peter suggested a continuation of the dialogue style in the free-writing period. This turned out to be a fun time with all having a shot. It appears the members could not get enough of the dialogue (smile) because Noline suggested the following for next meeting.

Homework:

Write 400 words in dialogue style on any theme.
